Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot Part One release delayed

The makers of Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship has announced a new release date of the film.

Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal starrer upcoming horror flick Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship which was earlier slated to hit the theatres on November 15, this year has been pushed to 2020.

The spooky film will now release on February 21, next year, confirmed Vicky on his Instagram story on Friday.

Last week, the Uri actor dropped the second poster of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship on the spooky day of 13th Friday of the month.

The poster features Vicky trapped underwater in what appears to be a sinking ship with a ghost holding the actor tightly. The actor is also seen struggling to get out of the water.

Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared the nerve-wracking poster of Bhoot captioning, "Can't get away from the fear, can't get away from the terror. Help me escape #TheHauntedShip on 15th November 2019 in theatres near you. #Bhoot."

Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.

Helmed by debutant director Bhanu Pratap Singh, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in a pivotal role.

The actor will also soon start shooting for filmmaker Karan Johar's period drama Takht. Set in the Mughal era, the film also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.

In other news, Vicky was awarded the Best Actor award for his stellar performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike at the 2019 International Indian Film Academy Awards held in Mumbai on Wednesday.
