Mumbai: Bollywood's one of the most sought after actress Sara Ali Khan who made her debut with Kedarnath opposite to Sushant Singh Rajput has been roped in to play the lead in an Anees Bazmee directorial.
The upcoming film bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor's production house will star the nation's current heartthrob Vicky Kaushal in the lead.
A close source revealed that Anees Bazmee wanted a fresh and young talent for his forthcoming film which is touted to be a comedy-drama.
If news reports are to be believed, the Simmba star and the Raazi actor will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in the yet to be titled Bazmee directorial.
A source said: "It's a comedy of errors and Vicky has already given his nod to the film. He approached Sara Ali Khan because the director feels that she's a terrific performer and people still haven't seen the comical side to her."
