Hours after actor Varun Dhawan praised 'Hobbs & Shaw' starring Dwayne Johnson, the latter took to Twitter to thank the former.
The movie co-starring Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren paid homage to the Samoan culture.
Praising the same the actor had earlier tweeted: "Watched # HobbsAndShaw. It’s great fun in the cinema. @TheRock really brings its. Loved the homage paid to the Samoan culture. The London chase sequence has to be the best"
Much to his surprise, Dwayne retweeted the same and has expressed his gratitude for the Bollywood actor.
The former professional wrestler wrote: "Mahalo brother and glad you loved it. You are the best."
Sharing the same, the 'Kalank' star took to his Instagram handle to put up a story. He captioned the picture: "Childhood dreams do come true."
'Hobbs & Shaw' opened with a lukewarm response but eventually garnered Rs 13.15 crore on the first day of its release.
Written by Chris Morgan, the film has been helmed by David Leitch.
Apart from English, the movie has also been released in three vernacular languages in India.
In other news, Varun has recently wrapped up shooting for Remo D'Souza's 'Street Dancer 3D'. The actor will also star in 'Coolie No. 1' remake.
