'Uri: The Surgical Strike' hits 200 crore mark at box office

Hyderabad: Vicky Kaushal starrer film is smashing many Bollywood records made by the big budget film. The film has crossed 200 crore mark and became the first mid-budget film to enter the club on the fourth week.

The film which was released on January 11, is still running successfully both in Indian theatres and abroad. It has collected 200.07 crore on the fourth week of its release. It became the highest grossing film in four weeks, after 'Baahubali'.

It has broke records of blockbuster films like 'Dangal, 'Sanju', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Padmaavat' and 'Sultan'.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina in the pivotal roles.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is based on the September 2016 attack by armed militants near the town of Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
