Mumbai: The trailer of Ujada Chaman hints at an emotional roller coaster entertainer with a message of self-discovery and acceptance woven around humour. Premature balding, the storyline of Ujada Chaman is similar to Ayushmann's forthcoming film Bala.
The film revolves around a 30 -year-old bachelor Chaman Kohli, a Hindi lecturer who is dealing with premature balding. In a 2 minute 30 seconder video, the Kohli family is seen eagerly waiting to get Chaman married off to a beautiful girl. But, the groom-to-be has to face a lot of rejection because of his baldness.
If the trailer is anything to go by, Ujada Chaman is an attempt to underline self-worth with a pinch of humour.
The trailer of Ayushmann's Bala is yet to come out but going by the already dropped teaser and the details which are out so far, Ujada Chaman and Bala apparently have a lot in common.

More than similitude between the canvas, Dinesh Vijan, who has bankrolled Bala has another reason to worry about. The release date.
Ujada Chaman is slated to hit the big screens on November 8. Exactly a week prior to the release of Ayushmann's Bala which comes out on November 15.
It would be interesting to know what Bala makers and Ayushmann have to say about the Ujada Chaman and Bala similarity.
Jointly produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Ujada Chaman also marks the directorial debut of latter. Headlined by Sunny Singh and Maanvi Gagroo, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kumar and Grusha Kapoor in pivotal roles.
