Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film Bala which was scheduled to release on November 15, will now hit the big screens on November 7, a day before Ujada Chaman releases which is similar to Bala.
The makers of Bala announced the new release date on Thursday along with a new poster featuring Ayushmann's bald character watering his head. The trailer will be out today.
Interestingly, soon after Bala release date was preponed, the makers of Ujda Chaman starring Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame Sunny Singh in the lead, dropped a new poster much similar to Bala's poster which reads, 'Take Ki Pehli Aur Asli Film'. And, there is no doubt that the caption is directed towards Bala.
While the teaser of Bala was dropped earlier in August, Ujada Chaman trailer was released earlier in the month.
Bala teaser featured Ayushmann as a bald man wearing a cap and singing a romantic number heartily before his cap flies off and his song turns into a melancholy one.

The satire comedy-drama film also stars Bhumi Pednekar playing the role of a dusky small-town girl at odds with a society that is obsessed with fair skin.
Directed by Stree directed Amar Kaushik, Bala is produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films.
On the other hand, Ujada Chaman introduces Sunny Singh's character Chaman who is suffering from pre-mature baldness which makes him a subject of mockery apart from facing several rejections as a prospective groom.

Jointly produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Ujada Chaman also marks the directorial debut of latter. The film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kumar and Grusha Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Well, it would be interesting to see which story resonates more with the audience as both films have much in common.
