Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities Anupam Kher, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Shabana Azmi and Deepika Padukone took to their Twitter handles to pass on their messages to fans.

Meeting a fan from Tajikistan, veteran actor Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter: "Encounters in NY: It was nice to meet fans from #Tajakistan. After taking pics they requested to record messages for their family members. Was happy to record a video for Saeed’s mother. As my father used to say, 'the easiest thing in the world is to make somebody happy'."

Attending Kids' Choice Awards, actor Bhumi Pednekar tweeted: "Aaj raat bacchon ke saath bacchon wali masti...don't forget to catch #KidsChoiceAwards2019."

Sharing her view on "dil aur dimaag ki race," actor Taapse Pannu wrote: "Dil aur dimaag ki race mein sirf 6 minute ka difference hai. Dil agar pehle kaam karna bandh karta hai toh uske rukne ke baad dimag ke paas bhi sirf 6 hi minute hai, khatam toh woh bhi hoga. hum shayad is waqt us madhayantar mein hai."

Condemning the JNU violence, veteran actor Shabana Azmi wrote on Twitter: "Students and Teachers beaten. Reprehensible, Appalling Condemnable. Immediate action must be taken against the perpetrators Stones Large Enough To Break Our Skulls: JNU Teacher On Violence."
