Trolls remind Kareena of Ranbir-Alia's vacation as she urges fans to follow COVID safety

Kareena Kapoor Khan is being brutally trolled for sharing a post on social media urging people to follow safety norms. The netizens are asking Kareena to educate her cousin Ranbir Kapoor about the same as he recently returned to Mumbai from an exotic vacation with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

Hyderabad: Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan on Wednesday shared a post on her social media account talking about the COVID-19 pandemic and requesting fans to follow safety norms.

The actor took to her Instagram handle and shared a statement urging people to understand the gravity of the situation India is in currently. She wrote, "It's unimaginable for me to know that there are still many people who do not understand the gravity of the situation our country is in."

Kareena further added, "The next time you step out, or wear your mask under your chin, or flout the rules, spare a thought for our doctors and medical staff. They are at a breaking point both mentally and physically. Each one of you reading this is responsible for breaking the chain. Now more than ever, India needs you."

With over 2 lakh likes so far, the post on Kareena's Instagram page has also invited trolls who reminded Kareena of the times when she partied with her 'girl gang' and Karan Johar. The netizens also asked Kareena to not give 'gyaan' on social media as her step-daughter Sara Ali Khan and cousin Ranbir Kapoor have just returned from a holiday.

"Please tell the same to your cousin who was vacationing in Maldives with his beau a week ago," wrote another Instagram user while another asked, "Are you with your girl gang and KJo done with parties?"

An angry user asked, "What about your friends going to Maldives for VACAY??????????" Another user commented, "Apne bhai Ranbir ko aur apni girl gang ko smjhao , vahi sab Maldives main ghoom rhe the."
