Hyderabad: After an intriguing teaser, the makers of Tribhanga have now dropped and film's trailer that promises a riveting tale about the mother-daughter relationship.
Renuka, who turns director with Tribhanga, has woven the story around three generations and the bond that they share with each other, good or bad. Kajol plays an Odissi dancer in the film while Tanvi essays the role of a celebrated writer. The trailer suggests that Kajol is at loggerheads with her mother as she holds her responsible for not providing a secure atmosphere at home when she was young.

While Kajol and Tanvi don't share a cordial relationship, Mithila, who plays the role of the former's daughter in the film is seen saying, "Aai is a tigress when it comes to me," in the trailer. The dialogue hints at how Kajol's past experiences have turned her to be a protective mother who can move mountains for her child.
Tribhanga also features Kunaal Roy Kapur, Kanwaljeet Singh, Manav Gohil and Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, and is scheduled for a January 15 drop on Netflix.
