Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film 'Dream Girl' trailer promises a big dose of entertainment with the actor nailing the character of a small-town guy who can speak in different female voices.
The trailer opens with a Ramlila scene, where Ayushmann is seen donning saree, playing the role of Sita followed by a hilarious dialogue by Annu Kapoor.
It also gives a sneak-peek into Ayushmann's romantic relationship with Nushrat without revealing much.
Later, the plot takes a humorous twist when Ayushmann takes up the job of a call girl naming himself as Pooja. As many people fall in love with Pooja unaware of the truth, everyone starts searching for her which leads to a lot of confusion.
The trailer also has some hard-hitting dialogues drawing reference from #MeToo movement and the pervert mentality of men towards women pulled off in a very subtle way.
After the massive success of 'Badhaai Ho', Ayushmann is back to tickle the funnybones of fans with his yet another film promising wholesome entertainment.
'Dream Girl' is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
The entertaining drama is slated to hit the screens on September 13.
