Mumbai: Actors Kangana Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra shared screen space in Madhura Bhandarkar's 2008 release Fashion. Reminiscing those days, Kangana has something nice to say about Priyanka who treated her as an equal despite being a big name by then.
Kangana is apparently not easy to please going by how she has been ruffling the feathers in the industry. The actor takes on biggies of Bollywood quite often and wages war against the politicians on social media. With such repute, when the Queen actor praises someone it comes as no short of a surprise.
Kangana, however, has heaped praise on Priyanka for being an amazing co-star on the sets of Fashion. As the film clocked 12 years on October 29, Kangana in an interview with a leading webloid said that she was starstruck by Priyanka.
When asked to define Priyanka as co-star, Kangana said, "She is fabulous. She is somebody who back then also when I was 19 and she was such a big star. I was so starry-eyed because when I was in school, that time I have been watching her films and here I was in my initial years."

The Panga actor also said that Chorpa treated her like a friend and not as a junior.
"She was so cool. She didn’t treat me like a kid or a junior. I felt like she is a friend, who shared food with me and asked me questions like ‘how do I look?, is this ok?, how this dress is looking?’ So I didn’t feel like she is my senior and she is such a big star. It was a nice feeling that she has that ability, it’s wonderful," she further added.
Priyanka won a National Award as Best Actress for her role in the film, while Kangana her first National Award, as Best Supporting Actress for her performance.
Besides Kangana and Priyanka, Fashion starred Mugdha Godse, Rohit Roy and Arjan Bajwa in pivotal roles. The film revolved around the glamour and grime of the fashion industry.
