Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has reportedly backed out of the Indian adaptation of popular series, The Night Manager. Hrithik's decision has come at a time when the team was gearing up to kickstart shooting in April.
Roshan was roped in to play an Indian version of the Jonathan Pine character, essayed by Tom Hiddleston in the original 2016 limited series based on the 1993 novel by John Le Carre. For the role, makers had offered Rs 75 crore to Hrithik but the actor has reportedly opted out of the series as he is uncomfortable with the long schedules and had date problems, reported a leading webloid.

The fans were excited to see Hrithik slipping into the meaty role played by Hiddleston but the makers will now have to begin the hunt for another star who can pull off the role with ease. The story follows the night manager of a luxury hotel, a former soldier, who is recruited by a government espionage organisation, to infiltrate the inner circle of an arms dealer.
Produced by Banijay Asia, the series would have Sandeep Modi, who co-created and co-directed hit series Aarya last year, at the helm.
