Hyderabad: After dropping an intriguing teaser, the makers of Parineeti Chopra starrer The Girl on The Train have now released film's trailer which promises a well-constructed murder mystery laced with powerful performance.

The Girl on The Train trailer is out on the official social media pages of streaming giant Netflix on which the film will be digitally released on February 26. The trailer gives a glimpse of how a voyeuristic divorcee Meera (Parineeti) fixates on the lives of a perfect couple from afar and soon gets embroiled in a murder mystery that unfolds revealing truths about her own life.

Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film is an official remake of the 2016 thriller The Girl on The Train, which featured actor Emily Blunt. It is based on Paula Hawkins' 2015 best-selling novel of the same name. Set in the UK, the film will also star Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwari. The Girl on The Train is produced by Reliance Entertainment.
