Mumbai: Filmmaker Aditya Chopra has recorded statement with the Mumbai police on Saturday pertaining to the deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. Chopra was questioned about the late actor's film Paani that was not made.
He said that Sushant's film Paani was shelved because of creative differences with Shekhar Kapur and had nothing to do with the Kedarnath starrer.
Sushant's film Paani was supposed to be his third project with the Yash Raj Films but it never saw the light of the day.

The police have recorded statements of 35 others before him, including the actor's family members, people from the film fraternity including casting director Mukesh Chhabra, business manager Shruti Modi, PR manager Ankita Tehlani, actor Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, among others.
Meanwhile, People have also been demanding a CBI enquiry into the case since a month now.
However, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh recently said that Mumbai police is capable enough to handle it and that no CBI probe is required in the matter.
