We are yet to know with whom Ali has tied the knot and when did he took the plunge. Since the filmmaker has always kept his personal life away from the spotlight, no one has the clue about Ali's surprise wedding or maybe engagement.

On the work front, Ali who has helmed blockbusters like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, will write and direct the new Mr. India. The makers of the project clarified that it is not a sequel or a remake of the 1987 classic film. Rather, it is a reimagination of the original that starred Sridevi and Anil Kapoor.

He will also make his digital debut with Tandav, which he says will focus on the various aspects of the power-hungry world of politics. The filmmaker will be reuniting with Katrina for an actioner. He is also working on a project based on the anti-Sikh riot of '84.
