Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been kind enough to extend his support to over a hundred acid attack victims through his charitable foundation.

His non-profit organisation Meer Foundation is currently helping with the treatment of 120 acid attack victims.

The actor took to social media on Friday to share a picture with the victims.

Sharing the same on his Instagram handle, he wrote alongside the picture: "Thank u @meerfoundationofficial for the initiative of #ToGetHerTransformed and best of luck and health to the 120 ladies whose surgeries are underway. And all the docs who r helping us with this noble cause."

Meer foundation was founded by Shah Rukh in 2013. It was named after his father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan.

Working towards a noble cause, the foundation functions for the betterment of acid victims. Right from taking care of their treatment to providing them jobs and other facilities, it also takes in charge of underprivileged children.

On the work front, the actor was last seen on big screens in Aanand L. Rai's romantic comedy-drama Zero starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif alongside him.

The Badshah of Bollywood has promised fans that he might announce a new film on his birthday which falls on November 2.
