Mumbai: Actor Sonu Sood on Friday took to social media to warn people about imposters seeking money from the migrant workers, in the name of the actor, in order to help them reach home amid the lockdown.

Hopping on to Twitter, the Happy New Year actor asked people to report if anyone asked for money on his behalf.

The Dabangg actor tweeted: "Doston, jo bhi seva hum shramiko ke liye kar rahe hai woh bilkul nishulk hai. Aapse agar koi bhi vyakti mera naam lekar paise maange toh mana kar dijiyega aur turant humein ya kareebi police officer ko report kijiye. (Friends, we are providing our services to migrant workers absolutely free. If someone asks you for money in my name, then refuse and report it to us or the nearest police officer) (sic)."
