Moradabad: Sonakshi Sinha's unintentional comment on Valmiki Samaj has fumed the community. A section of people came down on the streets staging protests against the actor, burning her effigy.
Last month, during an interview, Sonakshi made a comment on Valmiki Samaj which didn't go down well with the community. They alleged that the words used by the actor were offensive and demeaning for the community while also demanding action against the actor.
However, the 'Noor' actor already did apologize for her statement referring it to as unintentional and underogatory to anyone.

"If any person or community has been hurt by the usage of any word by me, despite it being unintentional and underogatory to anyone, I humbly apologize for the same," she wrote.
Reportedly, Sonakshi used the term 'Bhangi' during the promotion of her recent release 'Khandaani Shafakhana' which offended the Valmiki community.
'Khandaani Shafakhana' released on August 2 opened to a dull response from the audience as well as the critics.
