Hyderabad: Actor Kartik Aaryan has been roped in for a musical love saga titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, directed by National Award-winner Sameer Vidwans. The makers officially announced the news with a motion poster of the film on Wednesday but did not reveal who will be playing the leading lady in the film which is all set to go on floors towards the end of this year.

As reported earlier, Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a soulful musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning talents. Co-produced by Namah Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film will mark the first collaboration between Kartik and Sajid Nadiadwala.

While Kartik is already onboard for Satyanaray Ki Katha, the buzz in the industry suggests that the makers have approached Shraddha Kapoor to play the leading lady in the film which is touted to be an epic love story. According to a webloid report, Sajid has already shared the idea with Shraddha who has agreed to be a part of the film but is yet to sign the dotted lines for Satyanarayan Ki Katha.

Kartik's previous ventures like Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Pati Patni Aur Woh were all in the romantic space. Satyanarayan Ki Katha will see the actor bring a narrative that has not been explored before. Satyanarayan Ki Katha is said to be Kartik's most interesting project so far as he will be working with Sameer Vidwans who is known for having an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining.
