Mumbai: After sending fans into a frenzy with the teaser of their upcoming film 'Kabir Singh', Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani came together to celebrate wrap up of their film in Mumbai.
The style game of Shahid and Kiara was uber cool as they joined the 'Kabir Singh' squad for the celebration. Shahid kept his look casual while Kiara opted for a blue sequin mini dress with the quote, "get up dress up and never give up" written on it.
The celebration was also marked by film's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and other members of the 'Kabir Singh' team.
The cast and crew celebrated the film's wrap by cutting a cake. Kiara posted a picture of the celebration on Twitter. She wrote, “Anddddd that’s a film shoot wrap for #KabirSingh see you on the 21st of June.”
Shahid also posted a picture from their celebration on Instagram.
The movie’s teaser which released earlier this week shows Shahid's character Kabir Singh, a medical student, having major anger management issues.
The teaser gives fans a sneak-peek into Shahid's character, who is seen boozing, cocaine-snorting, and swearing. The teaser also introduces Kiara as Shahid’s love interest.
As per media reports, Shahid went through an extreme physical transformation for his role as he had to look like a young college student and also had to nail the look of a struggling alcoholic doctor.
The movie is a Hindi remake of Telugu ult classic ‘Arjun Reddy’. While the 'Padmaavat' star plays the lead role in the movie, Kiara, who was recently seen in Netflix's 'Lust Stories’ essays the role of Preeti.
The original blockbuster starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. After the teaser dropped online, Vijay took to his Twitter handle to appreciate Shahid’s avatar.
