Mumbai: The trailer of Aftab Shivdasani and Shreyas Talpade starrer 'Setters' has been released by the makers. The film revolves around the setters mafia based in Varanasi who indulges in criminal activities of leaking exam papers.
The trailer sees Aftab as the cop who leads a mission to expose the mafia setters headed by Shreyas. It digs deep into the corrupt face of the education system where the mafias set up duplicate candidates across the country to run huge profit making business.
However, the movie reminds us of Emraan Hashmi‘s ‘Why Cheat India’ based on exams fixing. It resonates with the theme of the previously released film.
'Setters' promises an edge of the seat crime thriller with its intriguing storyline and powerful performances. The characters seem well-justified and impactful enough to pull the audience towards theatres.
The film also stars Sonnalli Seygall, Pavan Malhotra, Vijay Raaz, Jameel Khan, Manu Rishi and Ishita Dutta.
Produced by Vikash Mani, 'Setters' is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary. It is slated to hit the screens on May 3.
