Mumbai: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recently announced about his "most ambitious film project". He has already grabbed his film space for Diwali 2021. He will be filming a revenge story of the maverick maestro, titled Baiju Bawra after casting Alia Bhatt in the 2020-release Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Trade analyst and film critic shared the news on his Twitter handle and wrote, "#BreakingNews: After the release of #GangubaiKathiawadi on 11 Sep 2020, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make his most ambitious film project... Titled #BaijuBawra... Revenge story of a maverick maestro... #Diwali2021 release."

Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the screens on September 11, 2020. The movie will be produced by Bhansali Productions in collaboration with Jayantilal Gada's PEN India Ltd.
Alia earlier expressed her excitement of being featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's flick. She took it to her Twitter handle and wrote, "A name you’ve heard a story you haven’t. #GangubaiKathiawadi ❤ This ones going to be special!! If reports are to be believed, pre-production was set to commence from mid-October while the Bhansali-led team will take the film on floors in February next year.
