Sanjay Dutt performs Vijaya Dashmi puja, 'You are my Ram', says Maanayata Dutt

On the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi, actor Sanjay Dutt performed puja at his home in Mumbai. Sharing a video from the puja os social media, his wife Maanayata Dutt penned a heartwarming post and praised the actor for his resilience and courage to conquer challenges thrown at him. She even called Sanju Baba her Ram.

Mumbai: Actor Sanjay Dutt, who recently announced that he has come out victorious in his battle with cancer, performed puja at his residence on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashmi. His wife, Maanayata Dutt shared a clip from the puja and called the actor her Ram in a long moving post dedicated to actor's resilience to fight all odds.

Mrs Dutt took to her Instagram account and shared a 24-second long clip in which Sanju is seen performing aarti while priests are singing 'Ambe Tu Hai Jagdambe Kaali'. Dressed in white pathani, Sanjay is apparently completely engrossed in the spiritual ambience fused with incense sticks and lights of many diyas dispelling away the darkness.

In a long post, Maanayata shared how Sanjay is an inspiration not only to her but many as he always has always fought back with patience, grace and love.

"Dedicating this Dusshera to someone who has been such an inspiration not only to me, but to so many others. Life has thrown many difficulties at him, but he has always fought back with patience, grace and love. And when we thought we finally had peace, life threw yet another challenge," the post alongside video reads.

She further added, "Today he has once again proven that a positive mind can win and conquer the worst situation with resilience and courage! There is truly no one like you Sanju, you taught me when the going gets tough, only the tough gets going. You are my strength, my pride, My Ram!! #vijayadashami bhava!! On October 21, Dutt shared a health update saying he has come out victorious in his battle with the disease. He posted a statement on Instagram expressing joy while making the announcement. The actor thanked his family and doctors for taking proper care of him. He also expressed his gratitude to well-wishers for showering him with love.
