Hyderabad: The Family Man star Samantha Ruth Prabhu's absence at the birthday celebration of her father-in-law and actor Nagarjuna has added fule to the separation rumours. When the Akkineni's celebrated Nagarjuna's 62nd birthday on August 29, Samantha apparently gave it a miss if viral pictures of the celebration are anything to go by.
Nagarjuna celebrated his birthday at home with his wife Amala Akkineni and sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni. The actor kept his birthday celebration a low-key affair and let Mumbai-based celebrity chef Harsh Dixit take over their home kitchen for a multi-cuisine spread.
While Akhil and Amala took to their social media accounts to extend their birthday wish to Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya unveiled actor's look from the upcoming film Bangarraju. Samantha also took to Twitter to wish her father-in-law and following her tweet the speculations around trouble in her marriage with Chaitanya rested for a while only to resurface when viral pics of family lunch went viral on social media.

The rumours about all is not well between Samantha and Naga Chaitanya started doing rounds when she dropping the surname Akkineni from her social media handles. In her latest interview with a film critic, Samantha was also asked what was the reason behind the move, to which she said that she is not someone who would react to such "noise" as she doesn't owe anyone any explanation.
Samantha and Chaitanya met on the set of Gautham Menon's Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010 and dated for a while. The couple tied the knot in Goa in 2017. Samantha is a multiple award-winning actor who is known for her acting in films like - Ye Maaya Chesave, A Aa, Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Baana Kaathadi, Eega, Rangasthalam among many others. Since the release of The Family Man 2, the actor has received a lot of love from people worldwide as well as Hindi viewers.
