Salman Khan starts shooting for Radhe

The shooting of Salman Khan starrer upcoming film Radhe has started today, the superstar shared the news on his social media. Directed by Prabhudheva, Radhe is slated for Eid 2020 release.

Mumbai: Superstar Salman Khan has started shooting for his upcoming film Radhe on Friday. The actor shared the news along with a group picture of the film's cast.

Taking to his Twitter, Salman shared a picture with the team of Radhe with the caption, "And the journey begins..."

The picture features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda, Atul Agnihotri, Prabhudheva, Sohail Khan with the clapperboard of Radhe flaunted by Jackie.

Radhe will mark Salman's third collaboration with Prabhudheva who will be directing the film after films like Wanted and Dabangg 3.

Randeep Hooda will be playing the antagonist in the film. The actor has earlier worked with Salman in big hits like Kick and Sultan.

While there have been speculations about Disha Patani joining the team, with the muharat shot featuring her, the reports have been confirmed. The actor has shared the screen with Salman in Bharat released earlier this year.

At the trailer launch of Dabangg 3, Salman said that Radhe will be a 'baap' of Wanted.

"Radhe was my character's name in Tere Naam (2003) and again, we used the same name for my character in Wanted (2009). But this (Radhe) is a completely different film. It has nothing to do with Wanted. If you want to go into that format or genre, then this (Radhe) will be a 'baap' of Wanted," said Salman.

Radhe will be produced by Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Pvt Limited, under the banner of Salman Khan Films.

The film will hit the big screens on Eid 2020.
