Mumbai: Shruti Modi, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput during the CBI probe has revealed that Rhea Chakraborty was handling the finances of late actor. Shruti, who is also one of the accuse in Sushant's death case, told the CBI during the investigation, reports suggest.
Not only that, but Shruti has also reportedly told the premier probe agency that she was not involved in giving any medication to Sushant. Her role was limited to receive the parcels at Sushant's home and hand them over.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned Rhea’s parents today in connection with its investigation into SSR death case.

Shruti Modi has also arrived at the DRDO guest house in suburban Kalina where the visiting CBI team is stationed.
Sushant's father K.K. Singh had filed a case with the Bihar Police against Rhea, her father Indrajit, her mother Sandhya, her brother Showik, Shruti, house manager Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani and unknown others.
The CBI team had arrived in Mumbai along with the forensic team last Thursday, a day after the Supreme Court gave the nod for a probe by the federal agency, and was exempted from mandatory quarantine by the BMC. The team has till date twice visited Cooper Hospital, Sushant's Bandra flat and Waterstone resort.
The team has also collected all the documents from the Mumbai Police related to the case. The CBI has registered a case on the orders of the central government on the basis of a request from the Bihar government.
