Bhubaneshwar: The Central Board of Film Certification has recently ordered the makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to remove wrongful dialogues related to the 1st war of Independence from the upcoming film.
The story of the Surender Reddy directorial has been touted as the first revolt that was fought against the British Emperor.
The revolt led by freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy a decade before 1857 stands in contrast to the Odish's Paika Bidroha also known as the Paika Rebellion. Regarded as the first war of Independence, the Paika Rebellion occurred during 1817.
On-demand, the CBFC has urged the makers of the epic film to remove the allegedly wrongful dialogue.
