Mumbai: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on Sunday won the title for the best actor and the best actress award respectively for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.

The duo's performance in the musical drama was immensely appreciated by the audience at large. Ranveer who exudes contagious energy also won an award in the category for the best entertainer.

Besides the Padmaavat actor and the Kapoor and Sons star, the Gully Boy fame actor Siddhant Chaturvedi also won the award for being the most promising newcomer in the industry.

Ayushmann Khurrana has also bagged the award for best actor by critics choice.
