Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Randhir Kapoor, son of the founder of RK Studios, the legendary Raj Kapoor, said that he is gearing up to revive the banner. The maiden production rolled out under the banner will be love story helmed by Randhir.
In an interview with a leading daily, Randhir, the eldest son of Raj Kapoor, without divulging much details said that there are plans to revive the RK Films banner with a love story that he will direct.
"Well, it’s happening. We are reviving the RK banner now. It will happen soon in a couple of months. The film will be a love story. I shall direct it," the daily quoted Randhir as saying.

Randhir has chalked out a plan for film's announcement. When quizzed further about the casting of the film, Kapoor remained tightlipped and said: "we’ll throw out the news of the cast with a bang."
The untitled film will be Randhir's fourth directorial venture. His filmography as a director includes Kal Aaj Aur Kal (1971), Dharam Karam (1975) and Henna (1991).
The last film made under the banner was Aa Ab Laut Chalen in 1999, which was Rishi Kapoor's directorial debut. Film's production is credited to brothers Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor.
