Ranbir-Alia love story dates back to 2016, says Ayan

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji who recently made a debut on Instagram revealed a hidden fact about the lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt which left the fans flabberghasted.

Mumbai: The director of the film 'Brahmastra' has divulged some unknown facts about the Ranbir-Alia couple known as Ralia which left the fans surprised.

He shared a 2016 throwback picture that was shot in London on his Instagram handle that showed him posing with the couple. He talked about the good times he shared with them in London.

Alia was a new force in their creative life. He mentioned that the couple had to work as one unit and the relationship was more important than the individual characters as the movie is based on a love story.

He stated, "There has been a lot of love since then. After all, Love is Brahmāstra’s guiding Light #brahmastra #lovestory," he concluded.

Apart from the sets, lovebirds Alia and Ranbir are seen together off-screen too. The director's updates concluded that something was brewing between the duo since 2016.

'Brahmastra' is a fantasy trilogy in which Ranbir will be seen playing Shiva while Alia will be seen playing a character called Isha.

The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan. This will be the first time the three will be seen sharing screen space together.
