Hyderabad: Bollywood star Rakul Preet Singh is making headlines for giving a nod to Ronnie Screwvala's upcoming film in which she will be seen playing a condom tester. The film which is being kept under wraps has now got a title.
According to reports, Marathi filmmaker Tejas Vijay Deoskar who helmed Madhuri Dixit starrer 2018 release Bucket List is being roped into helm the project. While nothing much is known about the upcoming film, the latest reports suggest that the makers have locked a title.

The film which aims at destigmatising the use of condoms will be called Chhatriwaali. Though the subject is bold makers have planned to put across the message laced with humour. Soon after the news of Rakul signing the film made headlines, reports of the actor not being makers' first choice for the film cropped up. The film was earlier offered to Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, who reportedly declined the role which then got lapped up by Rakul.

Meanwhile, Rakul's date diary has been packed lately. She was seen alongside actor Arjun Kapoor in the latest music video Dil hai deewana, composed by Tanishk Bagchi with vocals by Darshan Raval and actress-turned-singer Zara Khan. The two actors are also set to appear in Kaashvi Nair's OTT film Sardar Ka Grandson.

Rakul will also be seen with Ayushmann Khurrana in the campus comedy Doctor G and in Ajay Devgn's thriller Mayday, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Her other upcoming films include Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and Indra Kumar's comedy Thank God, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra.
