Mumbai: The 2017 film Newton which featured Bollywood's go-to actor Rajkummar Rao has clocked two years of its release on Sunday.
The film was earlier nominated as India's official entry to the 90th Academy Awards to compete for the award in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
Reminiscing the film's journey, the 35-year-old actor took to social media to shares the news with his fans and followers.
Sharing the poster of the film, the Trapped actor wrote on Twitter: "2 years of 'Newton'."

Besides the Bareilly Ki Barfi actor, the movie also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil and Raghubir Yadav in pivotal roles.
Directed by Amit V. Masurkar, the film had hit the big screens on September 22, 2017.
Produced by Manish Mundra, the motion picture was honoured with the National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Hindi.
