A thorough search was done at superstar's house by the police. It's reported that the caller had informed the police control room that a bomb has been planted in Rajinikanth's house on Greams Road.

Due to COVID-19, the actor's family members refused to let the police team in to check the house for bombs.

The student was let off after police conducted an investigation and after scrutinising his medical records.

On the work front, Rajinikanth will next team up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a yet-untitled Tamil project, which will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan.
