Hyderabad: After being inactive on social media for three days, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has shared first post on Instagram following husband Raj Kundra's arrest in creating and publishing pornographic content. Shilpa's latest Instagram Story is all about being 'aware' and 'surviving challenges.'
On Thursday night, Shilpa took to Instagram Stories and shared a reflective post about surviving the challenges. The actor shared a photo of a quote that read, "I take a deep breath, knowing that I'm lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and I will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need to distract me from living my life today."
Raj Kundra was on Monday night arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly creating pornographic films and publishing them through some mobile applications. The Mumbai Police earlier on Tuesday informed that the Property Cell of its Crime Branch had so far arrested a total of 11 people, including Kundra for their alleged involvement in the crime.

The case was registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and the use of apps. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Maharashtra on Thursday informed that they have received four emails alleging that Kundra, who has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a case relating to the production of pornography, bribed Mumbai Police officials with Rs 25 lakh to evade arrest. According to an ACB official, the emails were sent by a Yash Thakur, another person accused in the pornography case. A similar amount was allegedly demanded from him as well. His allegations, however, were vague in nature and forwarded to the Mumbai Police for further action.
According to Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Milind Bharambe, Kundra had a tie-up with a London-based company that was involved in streaming pornographic content through a mobile app called Hotshots.
Raj Kundra's arrest has happened at the time when Shilpa is gearing up for her comeback on big screens after a 14-year sabbatical. The actor will be seen in Priyadarshan's Hungama 2 which also features Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Meezaan Jafri and Pranitha Subhash in key roles.
