Raabta turns 4: Kriti Sanon says connection with SSR was meant to be

Kriti Sanon has shared a heartwarming post on social media as Raabta, her 'first and last' film with Sushant Singh Rajput turns four today. The actor has also shared a BTS video of Raabta making and said her connection with the late actor, film's producer Dinesh Vijan and his banner Maddock Films was meant to be.

Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon has shared a heart-touching post as her film Raabta turns four today. Remembering her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti said Raabta will always remain extremely close to her heart.

Kriti and Sushant featured together in the reincarnation drama Raabta, which released in June 2017. The two actors were rumoured to be dating around the release of the film and reportedly parted ways later.

On the fourth anniversary of Raabta release, Kriti took to social media and shared a video comprising some beautiful moments that she shared with SSR while shooting for the film. Beginning with lyrics of a song from Raabta, Kriti wrote, "Tan lade, tan muk jaaye...Rooh jude, judi reh jaaye..."

The actor further wrote, "I believe in connection, I believe that we are meant to meet the people we do.. My Raabta with Sushant, Dinoo and MaddockFilms was just meant to be.."

She further added, "Films come and go...But every single film has so so many memories behind it... The connections we make & the moments we live with each other stay within us..Some more than others..."

The actor, who has earlier said that Raabts gave her the creative satisfaction she was yearning for, has again said that working on the film was a memorable experience for her. In the end, Kriti expresses the grief about the Raabta being her only collaboration with SSR.

"Raabta was one of my best and most memorable experiences and it will ALWAYS remain extremely close to my heart.. Little did I know that it would be our first and last...," she concluded.

Back then, Kriti and Sushant never confirmed or denied the news of their relationship. Sushant was found dead in Mumbai on June 14 this year. He was 34. His death is being investigated by the CBI, NCB and the ED.

Kriti is now awaiting the release of Mimi and Bachchan Pandey. She has also kickstarted the shoot of her upcoming film Bhediya, which pairs her with Varun Dhawan.
