Mumbai: Months after her marriage with the American singer Nick Jonas, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed that her hubby Nick sought her mom's approval for their marriage.
Even before he proposed marriage to the Desi girl, the Chains hitmaker had a closed-door conversation with Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka revealed that she was unaware of their conversation until the Baywatch actress gave a nod for their relationship.
She said: "I didn't know that my mom and him have had this conversation."
When asked about whether her mother was a little sceptical about their marriage, the Isn't It Beautiful star said: "My mother is not like that... My mother’s never been like that. Even I didn’t know I was dating Nick when my mother found out."

Speaking about Nick and her mother's brief interaction, she said: "He was always clear about what this was. He flew down to India and asked my mom for my hand and marriage, before he even asked me. So, my mom was more aware about it than I was. I only found out after he proposed to me that my mom and him have had this conversation."
On asking who acts as the responsible one in their 10-months-long relationship, the Quantico star said: "We are very logical. If one person is wrong we admit it. It's easy for us to say sorry. It's not difficult, it's not a big deal. And I feel like that something great to be in a relationship where it's not a big deal to say sorry if I messed up."
On the work front, the 37-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of her next flick The Sky Is Pink which is slated to hit the theatres on October 11, 2019.
