Hyderabad: Actor Pooja Hegde is all set to star opposite Salman Khan in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The actor who is recuperating from COVID-19 has said that she is looking forward to interacting with the Dabangg star on set.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the films of Pooja that have been postponed due to COVID-19. Talking about the film, Pooja told a leading daily, "It’s a fun film that will make people laugh. We had planned to begin it a while ago, but the pandemic affected the shooting schedules. Once things get a little better, we should hopefully be able to start shooting. I am extremely eager and excited to work with Salman Khan. It’s my first film with him, and he’s someone I look forward to interacting with on the set."

Pooja awaits the release of her upcoming film Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas. The film, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, is scheduled to hit screens on July 30 this year. Radha Krishna Kumar has written and directed the period romantic drama. She will also feature alongside Tamil superstar Vijay in his upcoming film and Rohit Shetty's upcoming film Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh.
