Hyderabad: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor's next with Arjun Reddy fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga has gathered impressive momentum right from the word go. The crime drama which has Ranbir at the center will feature Parineeti Chopra in his wife's character.

Going by the audio teaser and buzz around the film, Vanga's film is woven around turbulent relationships between all the characters and how eventually the lead protagonist becomes an animal in nature. The film which is reportedly a gangster drama also has a complex father-son relation at its core. Besides Parineeti and Ranbir, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.

While Parineeti plays RK's wife in the film Anil plays the role of the father who is an emperor in his line of business. Reports also suggest that Bobby Deol is all set to play antagonist yet again after his latest outing as evil godman Aashram.

Animal will go on floors once Ranbir wraps up Brahmastra, Shamshera and Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy with Shraddha Kapoor. Meanwhile, Parineeti will be next seen in Dibakar Banerjee's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The actor also features in the Hindi remake of the psychological thriller The Girl On The Train, which is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
