Mumbai: It seems like Anushka Sharma's Paatal Lok is a hit among the audience, critics and the police alike. Days after the release of Paatal Lok, the internet has been flooded with memes on the much-awaited web series.
Even the Mumbai Police has got on the hype train and has shared a meme on the spread of fake news.
With a few hashtags such as #NewsFromPaatalLok and #ExposeFakeNews, Mumbai Police wrote on its Twitter handle, "When fake news peddlers are asked - where did you get this 'exclusive' news from?," alongside a still from the web series that read, "Maine whatsapp pe padha tha."
