Hyderabad: Social media sites flooding with boycott trends or threatening a ban on certain actors or their films has become a norm now. While the industry is still grappling to deal with the aftermath of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's demise and the dirt beneath the gloss that continues to dissipate, on Sunday morning, #BoycottBollywood makes a roaring comeback on Twitter.
The netizens are taking to social media to share their opinions on various aspects that they think Bollywood has got wrong. Some keyboard warriors are bringing up the age-old nepotism and favouritism debate. Few others have accused the Hindi film industry of hurting sentiments and mocking only Hindu deities and done so under the garb of wokeness.
