Not Amitabh, there's a new 'Big B' on the block. Guess who?

Ahead of the announcement of the Union Budget, Mahindra group chairman Anand Mahindra sought fun over the 'Big B' title enjoyed by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Mumbai: The chairman of Mahindra group, Anand Mahindra recently teased Amitabh Bachchan over the 'Big B' title carried by the megastar.

Mahindra took to Twitter on Monday and wrote, "With due apologies to Amitabh Bachchan, there is only one 'Big B' this week... and that's the Big Budget."

Big B, as lovingly called by his fans, was quick to respond, "Hahaha, Anand Mahindra. 'Big B' is a media created epithet, one that I have never subscribed to. The 'Big B' this week that you mention, will create media... that many shall subscribe to."

The Union Budget will be tabled in parliament on Friday.

On the work front, Big B is busy shooting for his upcoming comedy-drama 'Gulabo Sitabo' in Lucknow.

The film which is helmed by Shoojit Sircar also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Nalneesh Neel. It is slated to release on 24 April 2020.

Meanwhile, the megastar will also be seen in Rumi Jaffrey's directorial 'Chehre' alongside Emraan Hashmi.
