Mumbai: After the huge success of 'Sacred Games', Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set for yet another project with Netflix. The Bollywood actor has been signed up for playing the lead role in the forthcoming movie 'Serious Men'.

The film is an adaptation of the book authored by Manu Joseph. The title of the film is similar to Joseph's first novel 'Serious Men'. The film, helmed by Sudhir Mishra, will be Nawazuddin's second project in collaboration with Netflix.

Under the directorship of the National Award winning filmmaker, the 45-year-old actor will be seen portraying the role of Ayyan Mani in the adaptation of Manu's debut novel.

The former editor cum columnist recently took to his social media to announce the news. Sharing a glimpse of the story, an elated Joseph tweeted: "'If you stare long enough at serious people they will begin to appear comical' - Ayyan Mani in Serious Men." Originally published in 2010, the book will soon take the shape of a motion picture.

If a news source is to be believed, the story revolves around the relationship of a father and his son who belong from the Dalit community.
