Hyderabad: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has apparently learned how to shut a troll with grace from her mamu Abhishek Bachchan. Navya, who is currently in New York, hit back to a troll who doubted her intentions behind putting together a project championing the welfare of women.

On Sunday, Navya took to Instagram to share an update regarding 'Period Positive Home', a project under her NGO Naveli Projects which focuses on building a gender equal world. Navya in association with Mukul Madhav Foundation has inaugurated the first 'Period Positive Home' in Gadchiroli. While she was elated with the achievement, a naysayer on social media tried to puncture her gusto.
Commenting on Navya's post, a user wrote, "If the project meant so much to you, then where were you in the inauguration?" Replying to which Navya wrote, "I'm sure you’re aware we’re in the middle of a pandemic?"
