Mumbai: Mumbai Police have recently booked two Instagram users in connection to the rape and murder threats that Rhea Chakraborty has been receiving lately.
Sushant Singh Rajput's self-proclaimed girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was subjected to internet trolls and online hate as the later was blamed for the former's suicide.
A few days back, the Jalebi star took to Instagram and shared a screenshot of the offensive messages she has been receiving.
Responding to the threats, Rhea called out the Instagram users and requested the cybercrime department to look into the matter.

"I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet. I was called a murderer... I kept quiet. I was slut-shamed... I kept quiet. But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut? Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment. I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH," she wrote on the photo and video sharing platform.
