Master deleted scene: Netizens blame Gauri Kishan for spoiling crucial scene

The makers of Master released a deleted scene days after the film hit big screens on January 13. The said scene is going viral on social media where fans are blaming Gouri G. Kishan, whom they think was laughing in one of the shots which led to the deletion of the scene.

Hyderabad: Tamil superstars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Master is back in news not for the humungous box office success but a deleted scene. Netizens are slamming young actor Gouri G. Kishan for allegedly laughing and consequently spoiling a good scene.

On February 6, Amazon Prime released a deleted scene from Master. The said sequence is about a student being sexually assaulted and how Vijay who plays professor JD in the film makes sure that the culprits get suited punishment.

The scene which did not make it to the final cut has got over 1 mn views on Amazon Prime's Twitter handle. Soon after the scene went viral, netizens started floating their own theories on why such a strong scene was chopped off from the final cut.

A certain section of social media is slamming actor Gouri for allegedly laughing in the scene. According to the netizens, the makers had to let go of a good scene since the girl for whom the professor is fighting with the management is laughing in the scene. The keyboard warriors have also circled on Gauri's shot in the scene where they assume that she is laughing.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master also features Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in pivotal roles. Though the film made it to the big screen at a time when 50% occupancy norm, Master grossed over Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu alone within the first three days. The film is all set to be remade in Hindi.
