Main Asli Hindustan Hu: Shaan's new song on coronavirus warriors

After Hariharan and his band, The Sur-Viralists, playback singer Shaan has come up with a song on coronavirus warriors, with a motive to pay tribute to those who are risking their lives and fighting the pandemic.

Mumbai: Bollywood singer Shaan has recently lent his voice for a song that revolves around the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The track is basically a tribute to the people who have been trying their best to save the nation from COVID-19.

Titled Main Asli Hindustan Hu, Shaan's next offering will be out soon.

Sharing the news with his social media followers, Shaan wrote: "MainAsliHindustanHu

A tribute to our Warriors in our Fight against Covid19. Penned By @aalokshrivastav and composed by @dushyantcomposer Out soon."

Amidst the lockdown, singers have been seen making the best use of social media. From Sonu Nigam to Akhil Sachdeva and Jasleen Royal, a slew of singers recently conducted a live online music concert for their fans.

Earlier, celebrities including singer Hariharan, chef Sanjeev Kapoor and singer Roopkumar Rathod have collaborated online to create a song titled Chappa Chappa Afwaah Chale to caution people against COVID-19 rumours.

The number takes off from the evergreen hit Chappa Chappa Charkha Chale that Hariharan had recorded with Suresh Wadkar for Gulzar's 1996 film Maachis.
