Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel has made some startling statements on Mahesh Bhatt saying that the filmmaker had insulted Kangana during the screening of 'Woh Lamhe' which was produced by Bhatt.
Of late, Kangana and her sister Rangoli are consistently slamming Alia Bhatt and other celebrities of Bollywood for being apolitical and irresponsible for not voicing their opinions on politics and social issues.
Recently, Rangoli and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan engaged in a Twitter war where Rangoli, in a series of tweets, revealed about the bad behaviour of former’s husband Mahesh Bhatt towards Kangana.
Rangoli wrote, "Dear Soni ji, Mahesh Bhatt never gave her a break, Anurag Basu did, Mahesh Bhatt ji works as a creative director in his brothers production house. Please note that he doesn’t own that production house, after Woh Lamhe when Kangana refused to do a film written by him called ‘Dhokha where he wanted her to play a suicide bomber he got so upset that he not only shouted at her in his office. But later when she went for Woh Lamhe preview to a theatre he threw chappal on her, he didn’t allow her to see her own film, she cried whole night .... and she was just 19years old."
Earlier, the 'Queen' actress also had criticised her colleagues from Bollywood for not turning up for the screening of directorial debut 'Manikarnika' but contacting her for the screenings of their films. She also said that the industry is ganging up against her as she spoke about nepotism in the Hindi film industry.
It seems there is not one but many reasons why Kangana is constantly targeting the Bhatt family. While Alia is trying her best to politely dodge the queries regarding her apparent fallout with Kangana, the later is missing no chance to hurl insults at the 'Raazi' actress.
Let's wait and watch if Mahesh Bhatt cares to share his side of the story.
