Hyderabad: South Superstar Mahesh Babu is set to mark his silver jubilee onscreen with his 25th film 'Maharshi'. The first single 'Choti Choti Baatein' of the highly-anticipated release will be out on March 29.
The film has made fans super-excited as they have pinned their high hopes on the superstar after the magnum success of Mahesh's last release 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.
'Maharshi' marks the first-ever collaboration of Mahesh with filmmaker Vamsi Paidipally. The film has been shot across Dehradun, Goa and New York.
Reportedly, the film revolves around Rishi played by Mahesh who comes back to his hometown after hearing the problems faced by farmers. There is an important scene in which Rishi addresses the media, which is said to be the highlight of the film.
The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sai Kumar and Jayasudha in pivotal roles.
'Maharshi' is slated to hit the screens on April 25.
