'Luka Chuppi' BO: Kriti-Kartik starrer jumps on day 2

Hyderabad: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Luka Chuppi' which opened to a mixed bag of reviews from the critics has seemingly impressed the audience. The movie which earned ₹ 8.01 crores on Friday has taken a leap on the second day raking in a total of ₹ 10.08 cores.

'Luka Chuppi' has already surpassed the first-day collection of 2018 hits like 'Raazi', 'Stree' and 'Badhaai Ho'. Moreover, the rom-com has also become Kartik's biggest opener till date.

The romantic-comedy tells the story of a couple who decide to go for live-in and how their whole family gets involved with their idea.

'Luka Chuppi' brings the fresh pair of Kriti and Kartik first time ever onscreen which has already impressed the moviegoers.

Directed by debutant Laxman Utekar, the film hit the screens on March 1.
