In an interview, she said that her mother used to come to Bangalore to visit her whenever she could. Recalling the moments, she said, "I always used to cry whenever she used to leave. So, she used to put me to sleep. I used to clutch the edge of her saree tight and sleep. So, she felt impossible to get up and leave, she used to unwind the saree from herself and my aunt drape the saree around herself and lie down beside me, so that I didn't notice her leaving."

Vijay, the flick is all set to hit the screens on February 20, 2020. It will be interesting to see whether the film will be able to portray the journey of the Thalaivi in the best form or not.
